184-Instantaneous music (73-Success or failure)

A 90 pieces cycle for solo piano called Instantaneous Music, created specifically for the program directed by Martí Gironell “El pont de les formigues” of Catalunya Ràdio, during the seasons 2001-2004.

The particularity of this cycle of pieces for solo piano is that I proposed to compose them immediately, with the firsts musical ideas that inspire me the different themes the show producers proposed me, that changed each week. That's why all have a specific date of creation, as sometimes I composed many of them the same day.  

In the middle part of each piece there is space for improvisation.

Topic proposed for this piece: With the purpose of commemorating the birth of the Dutch painter Vincent Van Gogh, we speak of success or failure, relative terms, since Van Gogh in life was unsuccessful, and instead he is now the most quoted painter.
