Theme included in the record work Iris, project commissioned by the singer Alícia Calzada in 2009.

A work tailored to its voice with 11 songs in Spanish, texts, music and arrangements created specifically for me and adapted to the timbre and the particularity of the voice of this original singer of Sant Feliu de Guíxols.

In this piece I want to talk about traffic for life, or the vital journey allegorically to a train that transits and has no stations. Of the memories that life generates to us, memories sometimes ephemeral and diffuse. From the false sense of control over her, when what life asks us is that we let go, and that it escapes us of the hands whenever we want to dominate it.

A song about confidence

Recording of the theme

You'll remember (Original version)

You'll remember (English translation)

There are times I would like to find a light,
Let me shine the dark way of the past.

Very seldom did I venture,
To rescue his light.
Sometimes my memory knows more than I do.

I remember that in my childhood I was a troubadour.
Rescuing a map hidden a thousand treasures.

Later I saw how quickly I forgot,
From my childhood dreams,
To the burning fire of one who feels loved,
And maybe I lost track of the past.

And I surrendered, without knowing very well,
The honeys offered by puberty.

Later I understood that behind the skin of the skin,
I expected treasures like the ones I forgot.

And although again I will be able to choose where I will step,
I forgot that station again.

And so I go sneaking behind the wagon of this train that does not stop,
And that it has no season.

At each stage he returned me,
The ticket of the previous one.

He asks me to forget my orientation.

In every season that the train left me understood,
That you should not muzzle anything,
Your transit will tell.
Remember that you will never remember.
Remember that you will never remember.
You will remember its light.
Very seldom did I venture to recall its light.
