Theme included in the record work Iris, project commissioned by the singer Alícia Calzada in 2009.

A work tailored to its voice with 11 songs in Spanish, texts, music and arrangements created specifically for me and adapted to the timbre and the particularity of the voice of this original singer of Sant Feliu de Guíxols.

This topic ended up being the main theme of the CD, at least that was the feeling we all had while we were pushing the project forward. And it came straight from the heart, since I composed it to Marta Grabulosa, who would later become my wife and the mother of our two children.

It raises the idea that love can make us feel safe, or at least sheltered from all evil, as if theloved  person itself, with his love, protects you from all evil, that's why I call it My luck, which is not sold or bought, but is found.

A grateful love song.

Recording of the theme

Y anochecer junto a tu lado corazón día tras día.

My luck (English translation)

In the company of my loneliness,
luck smiled the day I met you,
or rather, luck chose me,
thanked the fortune of being chosen by your love.

In the company of inspiration,
luck abandoned me when I thought I would never forget,
that lack of vision.
Now I know that luck has not left me.

You are the eyes that illuminate me every dawn in bloom,
luck came with you in the shape of a shell,
I will never forget you again, my luck.

How lucky to know your room, by day,
and nightfall beside your heart side day after day.
Luck gave me,
along with the warmth your winged heart gives me.

You are the eyes that illuminate me every dawn in bloom,
luck came with you in the shape of a shell,
I will never forget you again, my luck.

The eyes that illuminate me every dawn in bloom,
luck came with you in the shape of a shell,
I will never forget you again, my luck.
