This piece was part of a bigger work with different musical numbers for violin and piano, to be interpret together with who was at that time my girlfreind, a violinist. But at the end I didn't finish the work, because the love relationship ended prematurely and the work remained unfinished, like the relation.
Later, once I overcome the trance, I rescued this piece from that collection, and I called it "Waves", my first chamber music work.
A work of an extremely easy writing, but extremely difficult to interpret correctly.
I have make two versions of the theme, the original for violin and piano, and another for flute and piano.
Curiously, on April 2014 this work was interpreted in an inusual version: voice and piano, interpreted at the time inside MOT Festival of Girona by Elena Martinell the voice and a server on the piano.
