ONEIRIC is an artistic project divided into three main areas:
-Oneiric - Multi-disciplinary show as a show of around 60 minutes duration has been created by the pianist and composer Paco Viciana together with the visual artist Anna Bahí, taking inspiration from the world of dreams and their relationship with Nature , with a selection of poems from the work "Canigó" by Jacint Verdaguer and "Poema del bosc" by Alexandre de Riquer, with the rhapsody of the poems by Lluís Soler, with audiovisuals created for the Anna Bahí's occasion, Jaume Geli's scenography, Marc Paneque's lighting and sound design, Ángel Amieva's stage direction and Paco Viciana's performance on the piano own previous ones, new creations by himself (Oneiric I-II) as well as musical improvisations on stage.
-Artist's book with photographs by Anna Bahí and a selection of poems from the Oneiric show where we enter an illusory world full of light and color, of subtlety, of constant communication with nature, with poetry by Jacint Verdaguer and Alexandre de Riquer. The edition of the book is carried out by the publishing house MMV, directed by Mia Masgrau.
-Water Dreams - Poetic Concert for tenor and piano, also created by the pianist and composer Paco Viciana (music, poems, dramaturgy and piano) together with the visual artist Anna Bahí (photographs, promotional videos, design, communication, image visual and voice-over) as a cycle of songs and narratives set to music with a clear invocation to the element water, primordial for life. A tribute and a deepening of water in the form of cloud, stream, breath, foam, rain, drop, fountain, fog, sea... with the tenor and rhapsode Eduard Mas, the introductory text by Joan Nogué, the direction scenic by Ángel Amieva, the supervision of the poems by J.N. Santaeulàlia and the technical design by Abdon Compta.
To carry out this project, we have obtained grants from Banyoles City Council, Girona County Council, Girona CREA Grants from Girona City Council, Aigües de Banyoles and the Coromina Foundation.
The premiere of the Oneiric show took place on October 7 and 8, 2023 in the Auditorium of the Ateneu de Banyoles. The presentation of the Artist's book was held at the Valvi Foundation in Girona on December 13, 2023. And finally, the premiere of the Poetic Concert Water Dreams was premiered on June 1, 2024 in the Cloister of the Monastery of Sant Esteve in Banyoles.
